In the afternoon, we walked across the street to the Kirribilli Market. This is an art festival/food fair/flea market/open air shopping thing. The normally-empty park by the train station across from our apartment was filled up with tents and tables. There was also live music all day, so a lot of people came out to enjoy the weather.

We checked out all the food vendors. There were a lot of ethnic vendors.
We decided to go for a mushroom blini from the Russian Blynis tent.
I really liked it.
There were also some plants for sale there.
We splurged and bought a basil plant and lime tree for our patio. I think they add a nice homey-feeling! Plus, both of those things are expensive and hard to find here, so maybe we'll save ourselves some money in the long run!
