Budapest: the castle edition

Besides baths, my other favorite thing in Budapest is the castles. Well maybe the buildings in general, but who doesn't love saying they visited a castle?!

First up was the Vajdahunyad Castle, which doubles as a museum these days.

On Sunday, we started out with a walk across the Chain Bridge to go over to the Buda side.

Then up the hill with all the other tourists.

We walked by Matthias Church, which is not a castle but looks kind of like one!

And then it was off to the Fisherman's Bastion.

We stopped here and sat for drinks, like the fabulous people that we are!

We were serenaded by these guys.

And had an amazing view!

Me, just chillaxing at a castle...
