Final days in Sydney

Adventures further abroad were waiting on us, so we had a last couple days in Sydney. Of course we had many things to fit in! First up from our arrival back in the city was Holly and Scotty's seaplane ride over the harbor.
Departing for the flight!
The flight was pretty good, so I'm told! The pictures looked amazing.

While Holly and Scott were in the air, I managed to pass the time in Rose Bay. It's hard to beat that view for a Wednesday morning when I'm usually at work!

The rest of the day was pretty chill: a walk around Potts Point and Darlinghurst for some of us, and a nap for others. Holly got to see all my favorite parks by the new apartment, and we checked out all the little shops on our street.
It's not a visit to Sydney without gelato!

Springtime flowers
And then a dinner at all-time favorite spot!
The next day we had a flight at 7 PM. In Burwinkle terms, that meant we had a LOT to fit in beforehand. The day was beautful, so we started with a crowd favorite of the Bondi Coastal Walk.

Between the Super Moon and the Spring Tide, the waves at the beach were huge. Bondi Icebergs actually looked like icebergs.
Along the walk, there were yellow markers up. They were there to bring awareness to crayweed planting going on along the coast to restore the population.

As always, the walk was amazing. We had perfect weather: not too hot and not too windy.

Next up was a visit to the city. We had a tour of the Atlassian offices, and then picnicked in Hyde Park for lunch. After refreshing, we walked down to explore the new Barangaroo park.

Then it was time to head home, pack up, clean out the fridge, and head out to the airport. With all that we fit into the day, it's probably not so surprising that this happened on the flight.
